Patient Vaccine Schedule Tracking and Health Assessments - for Pharmacies, Travel Clinics, Occupational Health and more

Inca Clinic – Beyond Travel Vaccines

“Does it do flu vaccines?” “What about HPV or Hep B vaccines?.” “We do a lot of Employment Medicals, can I create a Health Assessment Questionnaire for this using Inca Clinic?” We get asked these questions all the time by new and existing customers and the answer is…. Yes!

Inca Clinic will always have a strong set of features around travel health and travel vaccine management. However we understand that many of our customers provide other services in areas such as occupational health, adult vaccines, sexual health and so on. As result new features and changes have been added to the last couple of releases to support these additional services. Inca Clinic was designed with flexibility in mind, if there is one thing we’ve learnt over the past few years it’s that everyone is different. Three core features in Inca Clinic provide this ability to do more: Care Pathways, Health Assessment Questionnaires and the Appointments module.

Care Pathways

At the heart of the Patient Consultation process in Inca Clinic is the Care Pathway. A Care Pathway lets you define a series of steps (a protocol) that manages a particular type of visit by a patient. Each step in Care Pathway serves a particular purpose such as scheduling or administering vaccines, ordering lab tests or conducting a health assessment.

Care Pathway

Inca Clinic Care Pathway

You can create your own Care Pathways, give it a name (e.g. “Flu Consult”, “Pre-Employment Health Check” etc), assign a series of steps and link a particular health assessment questionnaire. This is incredibility powerful as it allows you to customise Inca Clinic for use with many healthcare services. Today we have customers using Inca Clinic for STI clinics, pre-employment medicals, flu, HPV and many other similar services.

Health Assessment Questionnaires

The Health Assessment Questionnaire in Inca Clinic enables you to link a series of questions that a clinician can ask of a patient: Question: “Are you fit and well today?” Answer Choices “Yes” or “No”. You can create a range of different types of questions :-Health Assessment Questionnairesingle or multi-choice, dates, text or multi-line text. You can even configure the question so that the user is prompted to provide more information if certain answers are given.

Appointment Booking

The third part of the equation is the appointment booking module. When you book an appointment for a patient Inca Clinic can email that patient a link which enables them to complete a health assessment prior to their visit. For example if its a pre-employment medical you can have the patient complete parts of the assessment process before they attend. This is can be fully automated so that the user booking the appointment doesn’t need to worry about which health assessment to send the patient.

Its a ‘Yes’ then

All this adds to providing you with a greater return on your investment, allowing your clinic to develop new services or enhance existing ones. If your focus is 100% travel medicine; don’t worry Inca Clinic will always be true to it’s origins. If you want more flexiblity why not take a closer look.
