Inca Clinic helping to meet clinic challanges
In late 2012, Jennifer Anderson (Lead Nurse) and Russell McHardy (Operations Director) were both part of the Trailfinders team who reviewed the options for a new system to manage the Travel Clinic Centre.
Their key requirements were to improve patient record keeping, achieve greater efficiencies in vaccine stock control regulatory compliance and streamline other business processes.
Two years (and counting) with Inca Clinic
Early in 2013, in an effort to increase client service levels and to improve the Clinic’s operational efficiency, Jennifer and her team identified Inca Clinic as their preferred solution for the travel clinic.
“Inca Clinic ticked all the boxes for Trailfinders” she says. “It’s designed specifically for travel clinics and it really suited our business. After the initial on-line training, we were able to configure the system by ourselves to ensure that it meets our exact needs. And we do all this without any technical skills.”
Russell McHardy is very impressed the whole implementation, training and take-on process were completed in a couple of weeks. “We knew that it’s a Cloud based system, but we really didn’t expect such a smooth transition to the new service” he says. “The pre-configured solution and on-line staff training programmes were a great starting point for our clinical staff.
Since its launch in May 2013 we have been able to tailor Inca Clinic to our business needs. When it came time to renew a year later we had no hesitation, Inca Clinic is now an integral part of our travel clinic service.”
