If you’ve been providing travel clinic services for some time you will know that advice and education forms an important part of the consultation. Most travel health consultations take about 20 to 30 minutes and most of that time is spent advising patients on how to stay well.
Inca Clinic ™ is designed to allow you record Travel Itineraries, Vaccine Schedules and other medical information as quickly as possible. Now in this latest release (Winter 12) we’ve given you the ability to include health advice information as well. But we’ve designed this to be more than just about printing out leaflets.
Travel Health Media
Inca Clinic ™ is built on the powerful Salesforce platform and one of the things you get for free is a feature called Chatter. Think of Chatter as your clinics personal Facebook or LinkedIn. You can use it to collaborate with colleagues, store documents, web links, videos, track records and so on.
We’ve taken advantage of Chatter to enable you to send patients health advice straight from the Consultation Summary page. Documents in PDF, Word or other formats can be sent to the patient, along with links to useful web sites, YouTube videos. In fact any type of media you like.
The patient will receive an email with your clinic’s branding and links to all the information you elected to send them. The information you send is then logged against the patients record for audit purposes.
